So how can you increase your email list?  

Set up your own FREE resource library. All you have to do is follow the steps below:

  1. Create a handful or two of content ready to go: PDFs, video, audio, etc.
  2. Set up an email list: Subscribe to an email marketing program such as MailChimp and create your first list. From there you will need to customize the signup form to match your business. Be sure to let the user know they are signing up to be on your list and to access your library
  3. Create a new private page on your website: You need a website for this one. Not only to promote your email list but also to grow your business online. You will put all of that content you created in step number one in your resource library. Once this is created, you can promote your email list and get people to sign up for it in exchange for providing them with the free content you created

When creating your content for your resource library make sure it’s what your target market wants and needs. Always keep your target market in mind. In fact, pick just one ideal customer and keep them in mind. Write your content as if you were going to give it to them personally. Seems crazy I know, but give it a try and you will be surprised at the results.
