What tips do you have for reducing credit card bills? Say for example you have an extra 400 or 500 to pay towards the debt. Should you spread it around or put it on one bill?
It limited me in certain ways. I developed a system within paypal…that now allows me to make purchases through the internet like for business cards, or tradeshow booths for clients. But I didn’t do that when I first started out. Paypal makes it easy to get my money upfront and then I can order the products for my client. So sometimes a card is necessary for sure, but it doesn’t have to be a credit card.
I love it. I just do a small transfer weekly from personal checking and it adds up quickly! Plus itβs investment, not just saving so I can choose my investment style, etc.
Sorry had a client call (speaking of money). π Yep! I used to suck at short term (accessible) saving and rock at long term (highly inaccessible) saving. But Stash is just separate enough from my bank account that I forget I could spend it! π You gotta know yoself!

Tammy Fink – someone HAS to do it OR you have to develop a system where you have a budge meeting once a week to crunch the numbers together and pay the bills.
If you don’t save cash and you have an emergency then you have to get into credit card debt. I’ve found that 20 percent of income is a good Target for rainy day saving. But saving even 1 percent is better than 0.

Oooh thatβs good!
Such great money advice here!
I built my business entirely on cash. I have a paypal debit card.
That’s amazing! What did you find challenging about paying with cash only?
It limited me in certain ways. I developed a system within paypal…that now allows me to make purchases through the internet like for business cards, or tradeshow booths for clients. But I didn’t do that when I first started out. Paypal makes it easy to get my money upfront and then I can order the products for my client. Tammy Fink great insight. Thank you!
I use Stash app to save money…from myself!! Itβs painless!
I’ve been hearing a lot about that but I just haven’t jumped on that one yet. Do you like it?
I love it. I just do a small transfer weekly from personal checking and it adds up quickly! Plus itβs investment, not just saving so I can choose my investment style, etc.
Hi Ed! Hi All. Almost didn’t make it today.

Hi Whitney! Love your profile pic.
Hi Melissa!
Yes masterminds are great
Yeah Elton John!!
I met you at an Elton John concert
Yes I buy some things after Christmas.
I do that income/expenses budgeting as well. Discovered that as a teenager. Still use it.
Yeah I love Dave Ramsey s solutions
Every now and then I go on a shopping fast. I don’t really need clothes (for example) so that trendy outfit stays in the store.
Yes! Love that! Yeah, I have to always double check things and make sure “do I really need this?”
Here’s the Dave Ramsey Snowball Method https://www.daveramsey.com/blog/how-the-debt-snowball-method-works
Didn’t learn anything new. That’s telling my age! Great reminders though.
Good for you Tammy! I’m proud of you.
I use credit cards like cash. I must have the cash.
That’s just to have a credit history.
My weakness is trying to help others. I’m now trying to control that.
Yes. Excellent advice.
If you don’t save cash and you have an emergency then you have to get into credit card debt. I’ve found that 20 percent of income is a good Target for rainy day saving. But saving even 1 percent is better than 0.
If you save only $1, the day you have no money that $1 feels like 1 million. So save.
I find that lots of people don’t like to live within their means. Credit cards come out.
Melissa, great interview!!!! Didnβt catch all but did see a lot!!!
ππΌ thanks for tuning in! π€
