Sorry I missed this one during the live. Are you referring to Facebook removing people who have liked your page but have not actively engaged with it so Facebook removes the person?
If so, I have not seen or heard of that happening…not yet at least.

Ed Troxell Creative someone invited me today and it said decline invite or accept. Then there was language that said if I didn’t accept within 3 weeks, the request would be removed.

Whit Devereaux oh cool! Yeah, that sounds like the new system then. That’s where the admin of that group then could send 1 reminder to you before the 3 weeks are up.

My group lost 14 people this morning but they are back now?

Jules White very interesting. That’s why I had mentioned my hunch is that Facebook has a glitch (surprise) that removes real people from groups.
Jules White yeah, it’s a system glitch that’s what I think.
Ed Troxell Creative when I go into my group the normal number of members flashes up and then it drops down by 5 ?! Definitely looks like a glitch to me! X
Ed Troxell the other day I couldn’t get in to any groups for about 3 days this week!

Ed Troxell Creative I just read another post someone saying it’s removing people who were invited into groups but never accepted – which you did touch on in your show – BUT I never do that so if I’m losing numbers why would that be AND they are going back up again to where they were before!

Jules White my guess is that it’s just your number at the top that is changing vs people actually leaving. Unless you’re having to approve people back into the group that would be my guess.
Once someone is removed from a group they would have to request to be back in which you would have to approve.
I think the glitch is just in the number at this point but we shall see as this develops.

My personal business group dropped overnight from over 7 thousand women to less than 3, and I woke up to dozens of messages from very active members who wanted to know why they were booted. So their algorithm is wayyyyyyy off!

Ed Troxell Creative I hope so too because it definitely has the potential of hurting small business owners like myself when our customers don’t realize they’ve been booted or get upset and think it was us kicking them out after realizing they aren’t getting notifications anymore.
