Hey everyone,

I wanted to pop on here real quick as I’m watching the Apple event to remind you to pay attention to these events that they put on. As a business owner, you want to take a look at how Apple structures these events and how they open the event with a mini movie clip.

If you missed the live broadcasts, watch the replay here.

The part that I want you to understand here is that it’s about the story that Apple tells with each device. It’s about the features and why they’re creating those features. And I want you to look at the presentation with that business mindset and think…

Okay, what are they telling here? Why did they add that? Why did they add the different watch faces that allow you to watch the score for baseball or why you’re able to add your fats, carbs, and protein levels to your watch face? Or why did they add the option to have up to 3 of your favorite people and their photos added to the watch face – not only are they pictures of your top 3 people but when you tap on them, you’re able to actually go through and call them.

The answer is, it’s all about that convenience.

So as a business owner, you want to make sure that you look at events such as Apple’s and break the content down – ask yourself, “what’s in it for the customer?”

Apple is all about the customer experience and diving deeper into “how can we make this better?” That’s the question I’m always asking myself and sharing with all of you – asking you to think about this in your business.

Spend a few minutes today if you can and watch the whole event – at the very least watch the opening and followed by the watch presentation. See what you can pull from it and I would love to hear your feedback.

Let me know what your thoughts are and what you learned from the Apple event – just leave a comment below.
